I Want An Apple IPAD

I’ve been hearing about this new Apple Ipad from a few months back but never took it seriously. Not until the last week of January when we were in Iloilo, that it was formally launched. But what is this Apple Ipad all about, that it’s creating such a big buzz? Is it really worth having or just another good to have, status quo gadgets but are not that very useful after. I’ve actually made some searches on its features and uses to check if I really want it and buy one. Or maybe, somebody might give me an Ipad in the next few months. Sweet!

My first impression when I saw the prototype was ‘just the bigger version Iphone’. But according to the apple.com website, it is the best way to experience web, email, photos and video hands down.  Let’s see if it really is.

And lastly, here’s some video showcasing Ipad’s use and features.

Price starts at $499 for a 16GB WiFi Ipad version up to $829 for a 64GB WiFi+3G Ipad version. That’s like P23K++  to P39K++ in Philippine Peso.

I’m a little amazed how it was able to play a RPG game where you’d most likely need a mouse and a keyboard. I’m pretty sure that needs a little practice. But overall, it looks like a good to have not really a must have.

For the question do I really want it? Yes, I want it, who wouldn’t. But will I actually buy one? Not in the near future. My toshiba lappy is still pretty reliable so buying another one may not be a practical idea. But if there’s anyone who’d like to give me an Ipad as a gift, I’d surely give him/her my wholehearted thanks and appreciation, haha.

How bout you? What do you think about Apple Ipad?

  1. I am not into “gadgets” lately. So, I am really not fascinated at iPad (I just thought that it was iPod spelled incorrectly, LOL).

But if ever you’ve got 2 gifts (iPad), I’ll gladly have the other one 🙂
